Voting is the most basic action in democracy but the most vital. Through elections, citizens have the ability to choose who represents them in government—locally, state-wide, and nationwide. Ballots also give us the opportunity to vote on measures like school funding, water rights, and social issues like same-sex marriage. Don’t just vote, be a voter!

Being an educated voter is every citizens’ responsibility. Contact the CGWAN Local Government Committee if you have questions or want to share information about local races.
